Asano illustrated the comic version of JoAnn Ross’s novel A Hero at Heart, titled Ame no Nagisa (雨のなぎさ).  It was published under Emerald Comics - Harlequin Series by Ohzora Publishing (宙出社).  Harlequin (ハーレクイン), now HarperCollins Japan (ハーパーコリンズ・ ジャパン), published Toraware no Carib Kai (とらわれのカリブ海), based on Proud Revenge, Passionate Wedlock by Janette Kenny; and Saikai wa Nigaku (再会は苦く), based on Kept For Her Baby by Kate Walker.  Asano contributed to the ladies’ anthology Sakamoto Ryouma to Bakumatsu no Onna-tachi Hen* (坂本龍馬と幕末の女たち編), published by Bunkasha (ぶんか社) under Manga Grimm Douwa (まんがグリム童話).  She also contributed to SMART COMICS (スマートコミックス)'s smart phone comics anthologies Renai Fortune* (恋愛フォーチュン) and Saigo no Koi wa Anata dake* (最後の恋はあなただけ) 1.  Both are romance titles and appear to be aimed at women.

She also illustrated the official two-volume comic related to the animated series Samurai 7, published by Furukawa Shobou (古川書房).
