Takeo Iba (伊庭竹緒)

Takeo Iba is an alternate pen name of Leeza Sei (聖りいざ), a former member of CLAMP.  Having only read the first volume of Gilgulim, I’m not in a position to give a proper review of Iba’s work.  But given my extremely low opinion of CLAMP, I must say I was pleasantly surprised.  Hopefully continuing experience as a solo artist also continued to improve her work.

Iguchi Kanon (井口かのん)

Judging from the URL of her (apparently defunct) blog, Iguchi's given name should be written as "Canon."  However, her Twitter page seems to spell it "Qanon."  I will stick to "Kanon" until and unless I can determine a definite preference on her part.

Kozue Isono (磯野こずえ)

Isono's comics were primarily love comedies, and it seems that most of the five-volume Isono Kozue Kessaku Shuu (磯野こずえ傑作集) collection were of this genre.  But volume 4, Akai Tanjoubi (あかい誕生日), contained horror stories, also including Mayonaka no Houmonsha (真夜中の訪問者), Shiawase Shisuu (しあわせ指数), Ooki na Kashi no Ki no Shita de (大きな樫の木の下で), and Tooki Hi no Koibito e . . . (遠き日の恋人へ…).  The series was published by Shogakukan (小学館) under Shou Comi Flower Comics (少コミフラワーコミックス).

Personally, I found these works to be unnecessarily gruesome, but fans of typical American-style horror might like them that way.
