Other Works:

Nakayama is primarily a fantasy writer, and to my knowledge none of her other girls’ comics are horror.  The vast majority of her works were published by Akita Shoten (秋田書店) under the Princess Comics (プリンセスコミックス) and Princess Comics Gold (プリンセスコミックスGOLD) labels:

A Nakayama Seika Selection (中山星香セレクション) series is now being released by Akita Shoten under Princess Comics α (プリンセスコミックスα).  The three volumes put out so far are subtitled Hanakanmuri no Ryuu no Kuni e (花冠の竜の国へ), Shiro Mahou Tsukai no Tsudoi* (白魔法使いの集い), and Koi Suru Otome (コイスルオトメ).

Other works include the art for Cooking Nyuumon* (クッキング入門), written by Hiromi Hayashi* (林広美) and published by Gakken (学研出版).  Nakayama wrote the ladies’ comics Elprant no Aoi Hitomi* (エルプラントの青い瞳) and she also did the art for a title written by Hiroshi Aramata (荒俣宏), Heian Kidou Emaki Hero Fantasy:  Kokonotsu no Oni Ezoushi* (平安鬼道絵巻 ヒーローファンタジー 九つの鬼絵草紙), both from Tokyo Sansei Sha (東京三世社)’s My Comics.  Nakayama’s only boys’ comic was Higashi wa Minami Nishi wa Kita (東は南西は北), from Asahi Sonorama’s Sun Comics.

Shinshokan (新書館) published Sora ni Aru Mori (蒼空にある林苑) in two different releases, the second under Paper Moon Comics.  Shinshokan also published the original versions of Ariel to Aerian no Uta (エイリエルとエアリアンの詩) and Midnight Express* (夜天の星特急) 1-2, both later republished in single volumes by Akita Shoten under Princess Comics Deluxe.  The girls’ fantasy title Robin:  Kaze no Miyako no Shitei* (ロビン 風の都の師弟) 1-2 has been published twice under Flex Comix - Flare; a third volume has been released once.

Under Missy Comics, a ladies’ comics label published by Ohzora Publishing (宙出社) and distributed by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha (主婦と生活社), were:

Futabasha also published bunko-ban editions of Black Pepper wa Tenshi no Yume (黒胡椒は天使の夢) and Ryouran no Tsuki no Moto de (繚乱の月の下で).  Another bunko-ban was April House no 4 Getsu* (四月学院の4月), from Akita Shoten.

Several illustration books of Nakayama’s works have been published:

She also had pieces published in Penguin Cafe 2 (ペンギンカフェ2), from Tokuma Shoten (徳間書店)’s Animage Comics, and also in Ohzora Publishing’s Orange Collection (オレンジコレクション) 2.
