CLAMP

Prolific and regularly overrated team of comics creators, including, at various times, Tamayo Akiyama (秋山たまよ); Leeza Sei (聖りいざ), aka Takeo Iba (伊庭竹緒); Igarashi Satsuki (五十嵐さつき or いがらし寒月); Mokona Apapa (もこなあぱぱ), aka simply Mokona (もこな); Nekoi Mick (猫井みっく), aka Nekoi Tsubaki (猫井椿); and Ohkawa Nanase (大川七瀬).  A few of their myriad titles were originally serialized in the Kadokawa Shoten (角川書店) magazine Asuka Mystery DX (あすかミステリーDX):  CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan (CLAMP学園探偵団), Wish, Suki.  Da kara Suki (すき。 だからすき), and Gouhou Drug* (合法ドラッグ).  Their short piece Souryuuden Gaiden:  Suito no Yon Dragon* (創竜伝・ 外伝  水都の四兄弟), included in the volume Souryuuden Genga Shuu (創竜伝原画集), also originally appeared in Asuka Mystery DX.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Creator of Sherlock Holmes; some of his works were adapted by JET into Sherlock Holmes no Bouken (シャーロック・ ホームズの冒険).  The London Mamou Gai (倫敦魔魍街) series is a somewhat looser rendition of the Holmes story.

Aki Edamatsu (枝松亜紀)

Otherwise known as boys' comics creator Kuroko Yabuguchi (薮口黒子), Edamatsu released only one title, The Final Day, published by Leed Sha (リイド社) under SP Comics - Horror WooPee Comic Series (SPコミックス・ ホラーウーピーコミックシリーズ).

Rampo Edogawa (江戸川乱歩)

Mystery novelist; his Kuro Tokage (黒蜥蜴) was made into comics by both JET and Ryoko Takashina (高階良子).  Takashina also adapted Panorama Tou Kidan (パノラマ島奇談) and Kotou no Oni (孤島の鬼).  Not Osada (長田ノオト) serialized his Kotou no Oni (孤島の鬼) and Kage Otoko* (影男) in the All Kaidan (オール怪談) anthology series.
